When my daughters were home from college we went to The Shard Shop to each create a piece of art. Many times when I have done something like this it’s fun but the art is really not worthy of being displayed. We were all thrilled with out art and have it displayed PROUDLY in our home. The staff was so helpful and the inventory of colored glass is amazing. It is a “must do” when in this area!!! Love!

We had a wonderful day creating and enjoying the beautiful art at the Shard Shop. This art gallery is a must see one of a kind located in Grayton Beach. You may even get to meet Mary Hong the artist because she lives in the local area. Her gallery is incredible! You can even purchase a one of a kind piece of art. We had our 9 year old granddaughter's birthday party here and it was a big hit. I highly recommend this unique and wonderful experience. ☺️

The instructor was very welcoming and knowledgeable! This is a wonderful place to take family and friends who want to have some fun and create art with glass. Prices are very reasonable and I will be telling everyone I know about their hospitality! The instructor even helped me find the perfect design for my piece.

I’ve taken two classes here and thoroughly enjoyed them. Relaxing, peaceful and fun during my vacation. One thing I’m very happy they offer is some sessions for adults only. My kids are grown so I am very appreciative of going to a class with only other adults and not being the only adult in a room full of 8-10 year olds. I plan to go again on my next visit. It’s the best.

My friends and I had so much fun creating art out of beautiful glass pieces at The Shard Shop! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful and made our time spent there a complete joy. Also, being a huge fan of the art produced by Mary Hong, it was cool to experience the process she uses to create such beautiful art. Highly recommend!

We participated with our teenage girls and we had a great time! It’s creative and they have templates to help you with ideas on the design. You use broken glass, glass beads, shells and other items to make your shapes/designs and they seal it for you. Staff were wearing facial coverings and you get gloves.

We take about 50 foster kids there each year and each child creates their own unique art piece. In addition, Mary is very generous and allows the group to create a one-of-a-kind large art piece for us to use in one of our big Silent Auction events. The art is always incredible (even when you have ZERO art talent) and our donors clamor to own it. I have created several pieces on my own and have one more to complete before I retire. This is a GREAT place for hometown folks and tourists alike!

The Shard Shop is amazing! It is so much fun to create beautiful works of art out of broken glass. I have had 5 of my creations framed to hang in my business. I have so much fun creating them that I once went two days in a row!! I’m planning a trip there in December and The Shard Shop is definitely on my list of things to do. I highly suggest trying them out. You won’t be disappointed!

Oh my goodness this place is FUN!!! We had the best time creating beautiful artwork and making precious memories. There were lots of people in there and they seemed to be having as much fun as we were. The employees were most helpful to me as I simply do not have a single, solitary creative bone in my body. If you wish to do something fun with your family and it be not the normal, every day "same old thing" while on vacation, VISIT THE SHARD SHOP!!!
